Pasta:
- 2/3 lb pasta (cooked according to package instructions)
Salmon:
- 2 Tbsp salted butter (or unsalted + a pinch of salt)
- 2 shallots (finely chopped)
- 1 lb salmon filet (cut into cubes)
- ½ Tbsp lemon pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
Sauce:
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- ½ cup cream
- ½ lemon (zest only)
- 3 Tbsp chives (chopped)
Instructions
- Shallots: Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add butter and shallots. Sauté for 2 minutes until softened.
- Salmon: Add cubed salmon, lemon pepper, salt, and black pepper. Sear for 2-3 minutes until almost cooked through.
- Sauce: Stir in crème fraîche and cream. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Lemon: Add lemon zest, simmer for another minute.
- Chives: Remove from heat, mix in chives. Combine with cooked pasta. Serve hot.

- You can add a splash of white wine for extra flavor.
- For a lighter version, use low-fat crème fraîche and cream.
