Salmon:

  • 2 Tbsp salted butter (or unsalted + a pinch of salt)
  • 2 shallots (finely chopped)
  • 1 lb salmon filet (cut into cubes)
  • ½ Tbsp lemon pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper

Sauce:

  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • ½ cup cream
  • ½ lemon (zest only)
  • 3 Tbsp chives (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Shallots: Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add butter and shallots. Sauté for 2 minutes until softened.
  2. Salmon: Add cubed salmon, lemon pepper, salt, and black pepper. Sear for 2-3 minutes until almost cooked through.
  3. Sauce: Stir in crème fraîche and cream. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Lemon: Add lemon zest, simmer for another minute.
  5. Chives: Remove from heat, mix in chives. Combine with cooked pasta. Serve hot.
