Rose Syrup:

  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup edible dried rose buds

Lemonade:

  • 1 1/2 cups lemon juice (juice from 8 lemons)
  • 6 cups still or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Rose Syrup: Heat 1 cup water in a small saucepan until boiling. Add sugar, stir to dissolve. Lower heat, add rose buds, simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool. Optionally, keep rose buds in syrup for more flavor. Strain syrup, reserve some rose buds for garnish.
  2. Lemonade: Mix lemon juice, water, and rose syrup well.
  3. Serving: Fill glasses with ice, pour in rose lemonade, garnish with lemon slices and rose buds.
