Rose Syrup:
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup edible dried rose buds
Lemonade:
- 1 1/2 cups lemon juice (juice from 8 lemons)
- 6 cups still or sparkling water
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Rose Syrup: Heat 1 cup water in a small saucepan until boiling. Add sugar, stir to dissolve. Lower heat, add rose buds, simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool. Optionally, keep rose buds in syrup for more flavor. Strain syrup, reserve some rose buds for garnish.
- Lemonade: Mix lemon juice, water, and rose syrup well.
- Serving: Fill glasses with ice, pour in rose lemonade, garnish with lemon slices and rose buds.

- For a stronger rose flavor, infuse the syrup with rose buds longer.
