Carrot Mixture:
- 300 g (12oz) carrots (peeled and grated)
Other Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup full fat milk
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp ghee (or neutral cooking oil)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup unsweetened milk powder
- Unsalted pistachios (sliced) for garnish
- Unsalted almonds (thinly sliced) for garnish
Instructions
- Cook Carrots: Heat a pan, add grated carrots, and cook until no longer raw.
- Add Flavorings: Stir in cardamom powder, sugar, and milk. Cook until milk evaporates.
- Add Ghee: Increase heat, add ghee, and fry carrots until they release oil.
- Finish: Remove from heat, mix in milk powder, cover, and let steam. Garnish with almonds and pistachios.
