Tips & Variations

  • You can prepare this dip up to two days in advance; just cover and chill until ready to bake.
  • For a vegetarian option, omit the pepperoni and add sliced olives or roasted vegetables.
  • Mix cheddar with mozzarella for a sharper, more complex flavor.
  • Use homemade pizza sauce for extra freshness and control over seasoning.

Storage

Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven at 180°C until warmed through and bubbly again. Best enjoyed fresh for optimal texture and flavor.

How to Serve

A white dish with a handle holds a pepperoni dip that has two layers: a base layer of melted cheese mixed with tomato sauce that is slightly browned and bubbly around the edges, topped with a layer of six large round pepperoni slices that are cooked and slightly crispy. The dish is placed on a dark tray with white marbled texture underneath. Surrounding the dish are several pieces of golden toasted bread, some whole and some sliced, showing their soft insides. Behind the dish are two clear glasses filled with crunchy yellow breadsticks. A light blue ribbon is loosely curled beside the dish on the tray. Photo taken with an iphone --ar 4:5 --v 7
