For the Buffalo Sauce:
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp paprika
- 5 tbsp honey
- ¾ cup Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Sauce
Instructions
- Prep the Chicken: Slice the chicken tenders or thighs into strips.
- Make the Wet Batter: Whisk together egg, buttermilk, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Marinate chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Whip Up the Buffalo Sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic, paprika, honey, and Frank’s. Simmer until smooth.
- Heat the Oil: Heat frying oil to 350°F.
- Make the Dry Batter: Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, and salt in a bowl.
- Batter & Fry: Coat marinated chicken in the dry mixture and fry until golden.
- Sauce ‘Em Up: Toss fried tenders in buffalo sauce and serve hot with ranch.
