For the Chicken:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper, to taste
For the Sauce:
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
- 1/3 cup honey
For Garnish:
- Thinly sliced green onion
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large pan. Slice chicken breast in half lengthwise. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
- Cook the Chicken: Cook chicken in the pan until golden brown and nearly cooked through. Set aside.
- Make the Sauce: Melt remaining butter, add garlic, cook until fragrant. Deglaze the pan with soy sauce and vinegar. Add honey, pepper, and salt. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Finish the Dish: Add chicken back to the pan, cook until warmed through. Garnish with green onions.
