Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius) to prepare for roasting the broccoli.
- Prepare Broccoli: Cut the broccoli into large bite-sized pieces to ensure even roasting and easy eating.
- Season Broccoli: Place the broccoli and garlic cloves on a large baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt and ground black pepper. Toss everything together well so the broccoli is evenly coated.
- Initial Roasting: Spread the broccoli and garlic in a single layer on the baking tray for even cooking. Roast in the oven for 7 minutes to start softening the broccoli.
- Add Almonds and Continue Roasting: After 7 minutes, add the sliced almonds to the tray and turn the broccoli to mix together. Roast for another 7 minutes until the almonds start to toast and broccoli softens more.
- Add Cranberries and Final Roast: Add the dried cranberries and toss them with the broccoli and almonds. Return the tray to the oven and roast for an additional 5 to 6 minutes until the broccoli is tender and almonds golden brown.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
