- 80g porridge oats
- 150ml semi-skimmed milk
- 450ml water
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
For the Topping
- 1 large ripe banana (120g), halved lengthways and cut in half
- ½ orange, zested and juiced
- 200g plain bio yogurt
- 2 tsp toasted three-seed mix
Instructions
- Cook the Porridge: Put the oats, milk, 450ml water, and ground cinnamon in a pan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and stir often for 5 minutes until the porridge thickens.
- Prepare the Bananas: While the porridge cooks, place the banana pieces in a microwave-safe dish with the orange zest and juice. Cover and microwave on high for 1½ to 2 minutes until the bananas are softened and slightly warmed.
- Assemble and Serve: Spoon the cooked porridge into bowls. Top each serving with a generous dollop of plain bio yogurt, the warm baked banana pieces, and sprinkle the toasted three-seed mix over the top for added texture and flavor.
