  • Author: Noah
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A refreshing and vibrant Blackberry Mint Cocktail combining the sparkling zest of Brut Prosecco with fruity blackberry and fresh mint flavors, balanced with a hint of sweetness from cherry soda and sugar, perfect for festive gatherings or a relaxing evening.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Brut Prosecco
  • ¼ cup 7UP® Cherry Soda

Fruit and Herbs

  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 6 leaves mint
  • 1 lime (juiced)

Sweetener

  • 1 tbsp sugar

Garnish

  • 4 blackberries
  • 4 sprigs mint
  • 1 lime (quartered)

Instructions

  1. Blackberry-Mint Muddle: In a mixing glass, combine 1 cup of blackberries, 6 mint leaves, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and the juice of 1 lime. Muddle these ingredients together thoroughly at the bottom of the glass to release the juices and flavors.
  2. Divide Muddle: Spoon 2 tablespoons of the blackberry-mint mixture into each serving glass, creating a flavorful base.
  3. Assemble Cocktail: Fill each glass with ice to chill the cocktail properly. Pour the Brut Prosecco over the ice and blackberry-mint muddle, followed by a splash of 7UP® Cherry Soda for a subtle sweetness and effervescence. Stir gently to combine the flavors without losing the bubbles.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Garnish each cocktail with a skewer holding a blackberry, a sprig of fresh mint, and a quarter of lime for an attractive presentation and an extra burst of aroma and flavor.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe blackberries for the best flavor.
  • You can substitute lemon-lime soda if 7UP® Cherry Soda is unavailable, though it may alter the flavor slightly.
  • Adjust sugar according to sweetness preference.
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the cocktail at its freshest and most bubbly.
