Ingredients
Scale
Meat and Seasoning
- 1 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Big Mac Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 2 tsp mustard
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Assembly
- 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian rolls or brioche rolls)
- 6 slices American cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1/4 yellow onion, finely diced
- 5 oz iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1/4 cup dill pickles, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350˚F to ensure it is ready for baking the sliders later.
- Cook Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat, then return the beef to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Prepare Big Mac Sauce: Mix together mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, mustard, white vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl until thoroughly combined.
- Assemble Sliders: Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in a casserole dish. Add a slice of American cheese to each bottom bun, then evenly spread the cooked ground beef over the cheese. Sprinkle the diced yellow onions on top. Place the top halves of the rolls over the beef. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over the tops. Note: Keep the cheese under the meat to allow easy removal of the tops for adding fresh toppings later; if cheese is on top, toast tops separately.
- Bake Sliders: Place the assembled sliders in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until heated through and the tops are golden.
- Add Fresh Toppings and Serve: Remove the slider tops, then add shredded iceberg lettuce, a generous dollop of Big Mac sauce, and dill pickle slices on the beef layer. Replace the tops, serve immediately, and enjoy your homemade Big Mac Sliders!
Notes
- Make sure to place the cheese slice under the cooked beef for easier handling of the slider tops during final assembly.
- If you accidentally place cheese on top, toast the tops separately to prevent sticking.
- Use Hawaiian or brioche rolls for a soft, slightly sweet bun that complements the savory filling.
- These sliders bake quickly; watch carefully to avoid overbaking and drying out the meat.
- Feel free to add your favorite veggies like tomato or extra onions for more crunch.
